A Youth Theatre program incorporating drama workshops, script
development and outreach in our community.  We continue to
encourage the theatre artists of the future by involving youth in our
company on an ongoing basis whenever opportunities arise.

1964 Peterborough.  Orson sets eyes on Catherine for the first time.
They are wed within the month. "In sickness and in health..."
2011 Peterborough.  Roberta and Beth struggle - with ample doses of
humour, passion and love - to understand Beth's compromised mental
health, and the role it plays in their union.  Across town, Orson works
at moving past the burden he bore, carrying the late Catherine through
her undiagnosed depression.  As Orson and Roberta recount the loves
of their lives, they try to discover a truth about themselves within their
relationships.

With the generous support of the Ontario Trillium Foundation, Ontario Arts
Council, Canada Council and the City of Peterborough -- Mysterious Entity
workshopped
Beside Herself in 2011.  Tara Beagan's exciting new
original piece is now part of our 2012 season -- directed by Em
Glasspool, choreographed by Bill James, and featuring Michaela
Washburn and Patti Shaughnessy.
November 2012
OTHELLO
Script Adaptation by Rob Fortin

Following on the heels of 2011's extremely successful production,
Mysterious Entity will be remounting our adaptation of Othello in
November 2012.  Once again, this highly regarded version of the
Shakespeare classic will be directed by Em Glasspool and will feature
our stellar cast of eight actors:  Beau Dixon, Brad Brackenridge, Lisa
Hamalainen, Susan Newman, Dan Kildey, Hilary Wear, Rob Fortin and
Matt Gilbert.

WHAT'S IT LIKE?   and
DOES THIS GIACOMETTI MAKE ME LOOK FAT?

An exciting exploration into Integrated Arts using video, spoken word,
visual art, movement, set installation, music and performance...  With the
generous support of the Ontario Arts Council, Mysterious Entity will be
workshopping and producing these two humorous and poignant David
Bateman pieces dealing with issues around HIV/Aids.
