MYSTERIOUS FESTIVOUS 2010
Hosted by Christopher Wilton & the Brio Gusto Wine Club...
Our first annual wine-tasting "fall fundraiser" was held on
Sunday, November 7th, 2010 from 2pm-5pm.
What a resounding success!
Kudos and thanks go to Brio Gusto Restaurant & Wine Bar, to
John Whitehead & Friends for the musical entertainment, to
our Hamlet In A Hurry cast members (and all who "died") for
their theatrics, to our Silent Auction contributors, to our lovely
"Cigarette Girls", to Catalina & Black Honey for pre-selling
tickets & prints, to our fantastic fundraising committee and, of
course, to all who attended! Let's do it again next year!!!
Extra special thanks to Jill Walker for her incomparable
organizational efforts, and to JoEllen Brydon for her
extraordinarily generous contribution - her painting "Friday"
(pictured here). Prints of this beautiful piece are still available
for $30. Contact us to get yours!

THE WINTER BLUES 2012
Join Mysterious Entity Theatre and beat "The Winter Blues"!
Mysterious Entity Theatre’s upcoming fundraising event, "The
Winter Blues" is bound to brighten up an otherwise dark
February night. On Friday, February 24th come to Catalina
Salon (131 Hunter St. W.) and take in some live entertainment,
including "blue" music performed by Curtis Driedger, Jill
Staveley, Matthew Watson, John Whitehead and more!
Treat yourself to a relaxing shoulder and hand massage, and
enjoy some cocktails at our Winter Blues bar. Stop by the
silent auction, play a few games, and maybe even dare to
impress the crowd with your karaoke skills!
This event is a great way to feel good, fight the winter blahs,
and show your support to Peterborough’s artistic community.
Funds raised will help with Mysterious Entity's artistic season -
which includes an upcoming workshop presentation of Tara
Beagan's "Beside Herself", a play that explores issues of
mental health through generations.
The party starts at 8pm and tickets are $10 at the door.
Attendees are encouraged to wear something blue for the
evening.
