DECEMBER 2011
Merry Christmas everyone! SLIPS 'n' The High Fives will be performing their last show of 2012. SLIPS won't be making an appearance until September- possibly
later- at the end of 2012. Farewell Peterborough...Hello Big Smoke and Niagara On The Lake! But....Don't forget to come down to The Holiday Inn on George St. to
bring in the new year! Hope to see you there!

NOVEMBER 2011
Well....As the great David Mamet said...'That happened'. 'Othello' is over. What now?....Time to practise extensively on the piano and do last minute touch ups on the
music for 'Caroline, Or Change'. My first music theatre project as Apprentice Music Director for Obsidian Theatre. The music is incredibly challenging, and demands
numerous hours of practising and reviewing. Fingers crossed I won't blow it on my first week!...

OCTOBER 2011
Hmmmm....Let's see. What to talk about for this month.....Oh, I almost forgot....I'll be playing the lead role of Mysterious Entity's production of William Shakespeare's
tragic play, 'Othello'. I can't wait to sink my teeth into this brilliant piece of drama. I'm already going over my lines and losing sleep over this fantastic role. The show
runs in November at Market Hall. Be sure to buy tickets for you and your loved ones. There's nothing like a romantic tragedy for a weekend date night!

SEPTEMBER 2011
Just when I thought life couldn't get any better!....I've been inducted into Peterborough's Pathway Of Fame! Take a stroll down Del Crary Park and you'll see my name
engraved on the sidewalk beside local greats such as Randy Read, Rick Fines, Robert Winslow and many many more! The ceremony was fabulous, and I was so
honoured to be sharing the stage with such wonderful, selfless citizens of Peterborough. This is truly a great city!

AUGUST 2011
It's time for Rock 'n' Soul Music Summer Camp! That's right, folks! This summer I'm only offering three weeks of fun-filled music and fun songwriting activities for up
and coming artists ranging from ages 12-17. Feel free to check out my website to inquire about Rock 'n' Soul Music Summer Camp 2013! Why isn't there going to be
a Rock 'n' Soul Music Summer Camp 2012?! Good question....I just found out that I've been accepted as Apprentice Music Director for Obsidian Theatre AND Shaw
Festival for 2012!! I'm very very excited! I'll be sad, because I'll miss a full summer of 4th Line and Rock 'n' Soul....AND my basketball season....AND, my ultimate
frisbee season!....But, nothing will be more ultimate then spending my eight months fully immersed in music theatre! I'm loving life!!

JULY 2011
Enjoying my time out on the farm at 4th Line Theatre. We have consistent sold out houses! On my down time, I'm finishing rehearsal with the cast of Parks Canada
as they prepare their tour of two plays that were written by yours truly (Beau Dixon), and Ryan Kerr. The plays will be performed along the Trent Severn Waterway all
summer, as entertainment for the tourists and a history lesson on how- and why- the Trent Severn Waterway was built. If you miss it in 2011, don't panic! You'll be
able to check it out in 2012!

JUNE 2011
Summer is underway and I'm preparing my new role as assistant director for 4th Line Theatre's production of 'Cavan Blazers', written by Robert Winslow. I will also
be doing sound design in the second play of the summer called 'Berlin Blues', written by Drew Hayden Taylor. I encourage you all to come out and say 'hi'!

MAY 2011

I'll be the guest singer for The Bonachord Male Chorus at Murray Street Baptist Church. I'm very excited. This is something that I very rarely do, but I enjoy it
immensely!

Starting rehearsals for a big Broadway Musical Revue set to happen at the end of the month.

Here we go!.....Rehearsals in Toronto for 'La Ronde'. Wow! What a cast! What a play! And, it'll all be done at a swingers bar called 'Club Wicked'...?....Check out the
reviews.....

APRIL 2011

Shooting a pilot for a comedy show in Toronto. It's called 'Serve Me Up'. I'm the regular barfly who won't shut up! It's a very funny script with a hilarious cast. It's being
submitted in the New York Festival in September. Best of luck guys!

I'm doing poetry/ creative writing workshops in a few public schools throughout the Kawartha region this month. It's something I've started doing the last few years
and I'm loving it!

April 23rd is our benefit for Japan. It's happening at Showplace. Try to come down and check it out. Dan Clancy from Lighthouse will be performing. 'Saturday... in the
park......!....' I don't know the rest of the words.

MARCH 2011

Local playwright/ choreographer, Ryan Kerr and Beau Dixon have completed writing two plays for Parks Canada. It's all about the Trent Severn Waterway. Try to catch
a performance somewhere in your neighborhood along the Trent Severn. It's a barrel of laughs!   Now that we're done writing....I'm off to Mexico! Going to the Maya
Riviera. Nothing but sun and sleep!

and dancers from Trent University.  Hope to see you there!  Firebrand Theatre has booked up shows for the month of February and the first week of March.  A total of
